Welcome to Ashurst Village Hall

Ashurst Village Hall is situated in the heart of Ashurst on the B2135 between Steyning and Partridge Green.  It's original use was to give the local working farmers a place to socialise other than the pub!  It has been a lively and popular hall ever since!

However, the old hall came to the end of it's useful life and was in desperate need of replacing - it was finally demolished in August 2012 due to severe structural problems.  Since then Ashurst residents have worked tirelessly to build a new purpose built hall.  As you can see if you travel along the B2135 through Ashurst, the new hall is NOW OPEN, an exciting stage in the history of Ashurst!

THE NEW ASHURST VILLAGE HALL  - OPEN FOR BOOKINGS FROM 1ST JUNE 2015 - Please see 'Bookings Page' for further information and our 'Latest News' Page for details of the wonderful Opening Ceremony.  Lady Olivier, Dame Joan Plowright kindly came along help us celebrate the official opening.  There will also be a 'Special Harvest Supper' to be held in October for the local community to enjoy an 'Ashurst Village Hall Opening'.  See the 'Future Events' page for further details.
